Now that's what I call fungus (volume 23!)


Honey fungus as far as I can see (thanks Charles Hipkin for suggestion made blind). No wonder this poor Sycamore in Singleton Park looked so ill this summer.

That's some show in what appears to have been a poor year for fruiting fungi. I bet it has some intereting invertebrates associated with it too.
