Reptiles in the Nitten Field

After setting the moth traps on the evening of 4th, Gordon took me on a bit of a reptile safari around Nitten, the highlight being a grass Snake and an Adder coiled up together, with two more Adders sat next to them. Of course my camera was in the car! A quick look the following morning, with camera, revealed a couple of fat looking Adders (possibly 'pregnant', if that's the correct term for a live bearing reptile?) and half a dozen Slow-worms, but sadly no Grass Snake / Adder combi.
