Swansea High Street

A Gower birder was offered services by a young lady whilst waiting for the Waxwings in Swansea High Street yesterday. I guess standing around a city centre with a pair of bins and/or a camera with a big lens is always going to attract the wrong sort of attention! Fortunately Sand's presence made things a little easier for me today, but again there was no sign of the 11 Waxwings seen last Friday, despite there still be plenty of Sorbus berries. Note there are Sorbus trees with berries as far down as Castle Street, and there's one heavily laden yellow-berried species/variety at Dyfatty lights.
