Hirundines on the move

100’s of hirundines have been present feeding in the Burry the last few days getting ready for their mammoth migration.

Swallows, House Martins and Sand Martins were starting to gather on the wires at Wernffrwd. This image enables some comparision between House Martin and Sand Martin juveniles at rest.
